I also have been looking for these cookies for years. They are to hard to make but my grandma and great grandma who were from Italy made them during the Hoildays and were always my favorite when they passed away no one could ever make them the same way. I am SOOOO picky on these cookies. I live in CA, and there is no where to get these. I am even giving my baker the recipe. I ordered 5 lbs of these, and they were and are perfect. Delicious, keeps well (I did 3 day shipping). And I have packages of them in the food saver in the freeze (they freeze really well).

I'm a German girl from Pennsylvania, so I know NOTHING about Italian cookies. However, my husband is an Italian from New York and I've been hearing about "Rainbow Cookies" since the day I met him! We live in Maryland and not a single bakery around here even knows what we're talking about when we ask. I discovered the Cookie Outlet Rainbow cookies online and my hubby swears they are just like he remembers them! Giving him a little bit of home has been a wonderful treat for all of us.
