multi-address orders with a single checkout
At the Cookie Outlet we value our customers, and our customers' convenience is a paramount priority for us.
We are happy to introduce the latest addition to our time-saving features: multiple address checkout!
Here's how it works:
- 1) When viewing your shopping cart, simply select "Checkout with Multiple Addresses" instead of "Proceed to checkout".
- 2) The multi-address checkout page allows you to select a shipping address for each individual item.
- 3) Once you have entered a location once, it becomes available for all other items in the order as well in your address book for any future transactions.
Example:
If you want to ship two rainbow trays to Dave and one rainbow tray to Amy do the following:
1) Simply add 3 rainbow trays to your cart and proceed to checkout with multiple-addresses (as explained above).
2.1) At the multi-address checkout page you will see three entries, each of a single rainbow tray.
2.2) Select the desired shipping address for each entry, in our case, select Dave's address for two of the trays and Amy's address for the third. If you need to add a new address to the address book simply click "Enter a New Address"
2.3) Optionally, you can choose to add/remove items to/from your order at this stage by adjusting the quantity. Notice that selecting "update qty" will send you back to stage 2.1 with the newly applied quantities.
3) Once you are done assigning the addresses click "Continue to Shipping Information", there you will be able to select the delivery and gift options for each of the packages.
4) Proceed to enter billing information and verify your order. 5) You're done!
